  My wifes cancer is back. Its in her bones, liver, and lungs. Our daughter had to be emergency delivered at 35 weeks a few days ago, and theres a chance she has cancer as well. I dont sleep, i just exist. My oldest child at the age of 6 asked if mommy is going to die. <br>Please rest while you can, and love those around you. I wish I had a peacful life. Oct 2024<br><br>Edit - july 2025 our baby did not have cancer, but it spread to my wife&apos;s pancreas. 3 - 12 months.<br><br>Edit March 2026 - she is in remission.<br><br>Edit - I&apos;ve tried to comment and thank all of you. I read each comment over the years. Thank you for all your prayers, your strength, and your hope. The messages that came in randomly always seemed to come when I was having some of the darkest days, when my wife was hurting the most. They helped me continue onward. Your prayers helped bring to pass a miracle. Thank you all. Miracles do still happen. Thank you for lending and sharing your faith with me when I had nothing left. Thank you.

  I love Internet checkpoints because you can read about people’s days or they offer loving messages and it’s really comforting knowing that other people are just living their lives just like me

  This makes me understand why my father was getting up early before work, before everyone else in our house just to sit near the window in silence, drinking a coffee and looking at the trees and birds outside

  I struggled with depression for 15 years and drank heavily during that time. One day, I decided to quit alcohol for 100 days, and that’s when I realized drinking was the root cause of my depression. I relapsed a couple of times but kept trying. Now, I’ve been alcohol-free for 100 days straight, and I’ve also found a girlfriend I truly enjoy spending time with. My hope now is to reach my career goals, not just for myself, but also to take care of her and my parents. May you all find peace.
