Kenneth Copeland's Gulfstream V isn't registered to Kenneth Copeland. Neither is the airport it sits on, or the 18,279-square-foot lakefront house he lives in. For thirty years people have argued about whether he is worth $300 million or $760 million — and the arguing is the trick. Kenneth Copeland Ministries took possession of a Gulfstream V in January 2018 and told its partners the aircraft was, in its own word, debt-free. Then it went back to those same partners for $17–20 million more: for a hangar, for runway resurfacing, for maintenance equipment for the plane they had already bought. In 2020 Tarrant County appraised the church-owned parsonage he lives in at $10,825,462. The church protested that valuation — on a property that owes no tax at all — and by 2023 the same house was appraised at just over $6 million. Property tax collected on it: $0. This is an autopsy of a legal structure, not an accusation. Kenneth Copeland has never been charged with or convicted of a crime, and nothing described here is illegal. That is exactly the point.
