Matt, you succeeded with this interview. I have been a Dinosaur Jr fan since "You're Living All Over Me", but I have NEVER heard J Mascis talk this much and how relaxed he is here. No monosyllables, no one word replies. This is great.

Saw Dinosaur Jr in a small club in the late 90's. Can confirm it was loud as goddamn fuck.

"Sometimes J doesn't talk. Maybe this time he will." - I think he was pretty comfortable with you. Most of us have seen interviews where he transports out of the room and comes back in time to give a one word response. Refreshing - great job.
