Really respect the theological and historical sensitivity here. May I recommend Ted Hughes' Shakespere deep dive: SHAKESPEARE AND THE GODDESS OF COMPLETE BEING.
Also sensitive to the inner mythic, civil war started in the psyche of the English soul by the Reformation.

I love all of Shakespeare's Romances. My favorite is Cymbeline (which has touches of The Decameron but used to more serious purpose). The themes of forgiveness and resurrection belong to Shakespeare's mature years. And as I grow older, the Romances offer comfort and hope.

I tend to read what ensued in intellectual development what began in literary and mythological sources. The immediacy of the moment tends to get effaced from my knowing but that's my problem.

Hi Dr. Walker! About a month ago, I emailed you about a poem I recently wrote, I hadn't attached it yet, just wanted to check if you might be interested in reading it. No pressure at all, just leaving a little reminder here because your way of reading poetry has really stayed with me.
