I was born in 1964. Until today, "For Your Eyes Only" has been (and will always be) my absolut favourite Bond movie! In my humble opinion, it is the funniest of all Bond movies, and Roger Moore seems to enjoy himself tremendously. And Topol is such a charismatic ally! I can hardly believe it came out 45 years ago. Makes me feel veeery old... 😁

I visited Meteora in central Greece a few years ago. You can hike to the top of several of the monasteries or pay for a tour. It was breathtaking and truely one of the few off the beaten tracks left in greece with hardly any tourists.

At the time, being an 11 year old kid, this was pinnacle Bond. And the copper fire colored Lotus Esprit is the best Bond car ever, IMHO.

The most serious Bond film of Roger Moore, and certainly one of the best, top five in my opinion. It was great to see Moore as a true detective and cold blooded, vengeful agent in this one.

My favorite of the Moore efforts. After the cartoon of Moonraker this change of direction to a more grounded tone was absolutely right. Moore seems to take the job more seriously and his scene where he chases Locque and pushes his car over the cliff was Moore at his best. Also the stunt when Bond falls when climbing is breathtaking.

FYEO has such a wonderfully warm, fresh and light look and feel to it, matched by Bill Conti's fizzy score. I love it! My favourite Bond film by far.
