  Enough is as good as a feast ❤ I live very similarly, but I&apos;m retired on a fixed income now. &nbsp;As long as I have a roof over my head and enough for essentials, I&apos;m content and grateful 🙏

  When I first lived on my own I was earning just over 200 USD a week, which wasn’t much in Los Angeles in the 1980s. But it was MY money, paying for MY apartment and MY bills. It set the stage for all that came after. That was when I learned how to find beauty in the small things, the joy in even the simplest of life’s little gifts. Best wishes to you.

  This is really the best way to stretch a smaller food budget. Soups are excellent and so customizable. I love making a big pot of soup and having it multiple nights. It&apos;s nutritious and delicious. 🍲❤

  I remember how I had to start all over at 33. Found myself in the UK working in a hotel. Most of my money went towards rent. Sometimes I haven&apos;t had money to pay for the bus. I was hunting for reduced price food and noodles were my best friend 😂 But I was happy. I was living my life the way I wanted, slowly and in peace. Life is beautiful
