Also non green planeswalkers that combo well with other creatures in the deck example Quintorious lorehold historian would pair well when you have the new avacyen angel horror . Quintorious would send creatures to grave avacyen will bring that card from the grave cheating out a high end card and creating a spirit token Jace can polymorph into a big creature also put cards in that also polymorph and can protect planeswalkers like the new hullbreacher horror

I'd be interested in an upgrade. Most upgrade videos I see are either budget or they go for a very specific combo. I wonder what's generally the best bombs to play in the deck AND why people arent playing all the blinkers and clones that work with PERMANENTS. Like if u flip into a blink then you retrigger jace but if you have a blink in ur hand thats 2 jace triggers right there. The praetors are definitely on my radar and big planeswalkers too but pillowfort and stax are quite tempting. Also the best commander for a Jace tribal deck that tries to get as many Jace planeswalkers on the board. Idk the deck has so much potential but it also kind of has TOO much potential. I could play my prismari sitting in the binder and play spellslinger, superfriends is doable even without green, the more I think about this deck the weirder it gets lol

For a little bit of fun i've added "hall of echoes" what is better than one jace commander? 2 jace Commanders!

I upgraded mine with some over priced bombs from around the house and so far I play tested it 3 times against other decks of mine. It is currently undefeated and I have been able to consistently do the thing. The cards I added bring a major combination of protection and power. So fsr I've gotten one of the 2 mass polymorph effects each game amazingly. Dropping 5+ bombs in one turn is scary for sure and given the cards I have added make it hard to remove them, target them, or even target me it has proven hard to deal with. Obviously these have been lucky games but very cool and very fun.

Board wipes don’t affect planes walkers?

So I have never played a deck with a planeswaler as commander. Does commander tax still effect him even if he left the battlefield because I used all loyalty counters. For example, say Jace is at 3 loyalty, I use his ability and bring him to 0. He then goes to the command zone and I need to pay 2 more mana to play him again? If that is the case, is the strategy to never bring him to 0 that way?
