  We must never forget that without Christ we are powerless. During an Exorcism, the Exorcist is an artillery spotter, not the artillery.

  Father Steve Baptised me when he was our Priest back in the mid 90s. He was a favorite of mine and I still miss him to this day.

Stephen about addiction being a demonic attachment. &nbsp;I&apos;ll never forget that during one of my alcoholic-related hospitalizations, this lovely woman, cleaning the floor of my room, who engaged me in conversation. &nbsp;She never looked up from her mopping as she said, &quot;Child, the devil doesn&apos;t want to hurt you -- he wants to KILL you.&quot; &nbsp;I&apos;ve never forgotten this. &nbsp;I was later able to delivered of my alcoholism, when I was finally so out of options that I was near death. &nbsp;I finally gave myself &nbsp;over to God as I understood him, praying only for knowledge of his will for me and the power to carry it out. &nbsp;My recovery was nothing short of miraculous, and over a dozen years later, I lead a blessed life. &nbsp;Every day my prayers begin with &quot;Thank you!&quot;

  Fr. Steve was my parish priest at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rancho Cucamonga California when I was &nbsp;in high school back in the mid to late 90s. I had a lot of interaction with him at that time. Such a great priest. Real deal. I would believe anything he says.
