I've wondered for a while that Stonehenge is an attempt by the remnants of a previous advanced society to mark a point in time within the precession cycle, when a catastrophy from above ended nearly everything, i.e. it was built as a warning on the assumption that humans would advance enough again to figure it out and prepare for it.
