  I like how everyone created a mascot for a different what-if scenario. Ron&apos;s mascot was if Pokémon started as an anime franchise first, instead of a game. Tubz&apos;s and Stern&apos;s mascots look more like if the franchise had started in modern times, though Stern&apos;s mascot has more of a reboot or spin-off vibe, like a <i>new</i> mascot designed for the fans who grew up with the original, but are older now. While Bonny&apos;s mascot is a pure, unadulterated, &quot;if Gen 1 had a mascot that wasn&apos;t Pikachu&quot;. Bonny&apos;s design had the most authentic feel of what they would have actually done in those times, without having our modern lens of what could have been done. Impressive job from everyone regardless

  hear me out for the pokeball pokemon design-<br><br>depending on the ball you catch the first evolution in, that’s the type/style/color of the second evolution!

  What I love about Arumaru and Daimaru is that it almost mirrors Pikachu/Raichu in that I could fully understand somebody never evolving it, Arumaru has such adventuring protagonist energy, and then Daimaru is built to be a fighter. They both have a specific form of charm<br><br>For the record I really enjoy all of them for very different reasons and its one of the things this series is so enjoyable

  Arumaru also being in the shape of a pokeball would make more visual sense why he&apos;s never in a pokeball like Pikachu, because he can just roll up in to one. I can just imagine him rolling into a ball, bouncing around and insisting the protagonist throw him into danger to help save the day.<br><br> I&apos;ve never bothered catching a Pikachu unless I was trying to build a living dex. This guy I would&apos;ve been on the lookout for in every new area.

  I can just picture the anime starting with Arumaru somehow ending up in Prof Oaks bag of pokeballs. Happens to be in the group of balls given to Ash. During his first encounter he grabs Arumaru and starts a battle instead of throwing for a catch. Ash caught off guard and knowing nothing about the little guy ends up winning the fight regardless and Arumaru jumps back in the bag after. As their bond grows Arumaru both litterally and figuratively “comes out of his shell” and starts walking with and trusting Ash. As the bong continues the evolution makes sense story line wise and can happen, unlike the current anime with Picachu

  Arumaru and Dairumaru having Sturdy is a fun concept for a mascot Pokemon. It&apos;d create really cool anime moments where it&apos;s like &quot;Arumaru survives on 1 HP!!!! The crowd goes wild!&quot;

  Genuinely one of the best fakemon designs Ron has ever had. Could absolutely see it being a mascot for some kind of video game or animated tv show. It just looks like it would fit in anywhere

  I wonder if the crystals on Gleemimi/Gleemin could&apos;ve been either removed or simplified, since I feel what makes Pikachu so iconic is just how truly, <i>incredibly</i> simple the design is. Just yellow with red cheeks and black ear ends, and a simple shape to boot. I also feel like the white and mint greens don&apos;t &quot;pop&quot; as much as bright yellow and red, and I don&apos;t know what those peach-colored spots are for. Other than that it&apos;s very much a great design.

  The main thing I think of when I think mascot is the drawability for a kid. Pikachu you can get right even if it&apos;s a yellow circle with ears and a lightning tail
