The perfect ending to this game would鈥檝e been a walkoff touchdown by Pederson breaking the record.

When Peterson hit that last run it was one of those iconic NFL moments. You really thought for a second that he could get the record.

If Vikings weren't playing for the playoffs, AP would've broke the record.

I actually think Vikings fans would've wanted him to break the record instead of make the playoffs.

I watched this game live at the time, never rooted so hard for overtime in my life lol. Would have loved for AD to hold the single game and single season record. If there was 1 more minute left he would have had it. They don't make em like this anymore.

I鈥檓 a die hard packers fan. Born and raised in Wisconsin. But I wanted Adrian Peterson to break that record so bad. NFC will forever be the best.

I remember watching this and being so ecstatic about Walsh hitting the field goal to send us to the playoffs. In hind sight I wish he would have missed to force OT so that AP could have broke the record. People would have remembered that. No one remembers the playoff game that featured Joe Webb as our qb
