  I used this video to introduce my two oldest daughters (7 and 9) to chess.  They know I love playing, and they wanted to know the origin and history.  Within 15 minutes, they both were snoring😂  That wasn't the goal, but it worked out for my wife and I if you know what I mean ;)   Thanks for all the effort and love you pour into your content!  Much love, my unknowingly known wingman!!😂

  Chess is one of the few subjects that I thinks history is extremely interesting. The history of the developments in Science, and mathematics are cool, and all the geniuses who made great strides in them are extremely entertaining and respectable. But because chess is a game played with two, there is a deep psychological element it seems, that I personally find very fascinating

  I love every ASMR Chess video, but the history and storytelling behind this one was on a whole other level. It was so interesting I watched it once Al the way through &nbsp;before I went to sleep with it going a second time. Well done!

  I think what I heard many years ago was that the reason they didn&apos;t like the knight being called a horse was because the piece is not a focus on the animal the knight was riding on, it was focused on the knight who was responsible to fight in the war on the horse. Today our pieces don&apos;t have the human on the horse, so it&apos;s easy for us to think of it as a horse/horsy. Thank you for this wonderful story, I just wanted to share that with you because it used to bother me too. ♟
