  Hi all, it&apos;s my first time in Vietnam<br>We spent 4days in Hanoi and was happy to try so many nice local street food like Bánh mì, Bun cha, dry Pho, egg coffee and some aesthetic cafes too<br>The buildings in Old quarter are cultural and beautiful too 💒<br>There will be a 2nd part where I went to train street and tried more unique cafes ☕️

  You did a great job of finding food and drinks there. &nbsp;There&apos;s a lot more food and such to discover. &nbsp;If you come back, go to the Ethnology Museum, the Women&apos;s Museum, etc. &nbsp;I think there&apos;s also a pottery city of sorts that looks cool where you can make your own pottery. &nbsp;Tons of stuff to do there, for sure, and lots more food to discover (you might need a food tour or 2 as the tour guides can help you out). &nbsp;Find the fried banana place as it looks great.

  I had to laugh at how you ate the banh mi at the beginning. &nbsp;When you get a sizzling hot plate like that with banh mi on the side, you break the banh mi into smaller pieces like you did, then you can use those pieces to make bite-sized banh mi by opening up the small piece and then adding the pate, meat, etc., before eating. &nbsp;Or use it to dip into the sauce and eat. &nbsp;You&apos;ll usually see baguette served like that with the Vietnamese beef stew or chicken curry (although many places serve it over noodles, which is not traditional, in &nbsp;my eye, as we always grew up eating it with baguette). &nbsp;The only time the baguette is eaten as a whole is if it&apos;s served like a sandwich.
