The Secret To Making Perfectly Cooked Chicken Wings In The Air Fryer!

I Cut Chicken Drumsticks Like THIS… I’ll Never Air Fry Them the Old Way Again! 🍗🔥 These air fryer chicken drumsticks are juicy, flavorful, and covered with garlic Parmesan butter while they’re still hot. The secret is making deep cuts in the chicken before marinating — it helps all that flavor get right into the meat. I keep the skin on, marinate the drumsticks for 20 minutes, air fry them until golden, then brush them generously with garlic, butter, Parmesan, and fresh parsley. And don’t skip the creamy lemon garlic sauce. 😍 I’m Nick from California 👋 Where are you watching from? Garlic Parmesan Butter • Butter — 2½ tbsp / 35 g • Garlic — 2 cloves • Parmesan — 1.4–1.8 oz / 40–50 g • Fresh parsley — 2 tbsp • Salt — a small pinch • Black pepper — a pinch Creamy Lemon Garlic Sauce • Greek yogurt — 3 tbsp • Mayonnaise — 2 tbsp • Dijon mustard — ½ tsp • Garlic — ½–1 small clove • Lemon juice — 1 tsp • Lemon zest — ¼ tsp • Fresh parsley — 1 tsp • Rosemary — a tiny pinch • Black pepper — a pinch • Salt — only if needed 🔥 HOW TO MAKE IT Keep the skin on the chicken drumsticks. Make 3–4 deep cuts in each drumstick, cutting through the skin and deep into the meat without cutting it away from the bone. Add the soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, fresh garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, oregano, rosemary, black pepper, honey, and Dijon mustard. Massage the marinade into the chicken, making sure it gets deep inside every cut. Let the chicken marinate for: 20 minutes While the chicken marinates, make the Garlic Parmesan Butter. Mix softened butter with garlic, Parmesan, fresh parsley, a small pinch of salt, and black pepper. Save this for the hot chicken at the end. 🔥 AIR FRYER Preheat: 375°F / 190°C — 3 minutes Air fry: 375°F / 190°C — 22 minutes Then flip the drumsticks. Cook for another: 375°F / 190°C — 6 minutes Total cooking time: 28 minutes Check the thickest part of the chicken without touching the bone. Chicken should reach at least: 165°F / 74°C Drumsticks can become even more tender when cooked to a higher internal temperature. As soon as the chicken comes out hot, generously brush each drumstick with the Garlic Parmesan Butter. Make sure the butter gets inside those deep cuts too. 🧄🧈🧀 For the dipping sauce, simply mix all the sauce ingredients until creamy. Serve the hot chicken with the Creamy Lemon Garlic Sauce. 🍗 Skin ON or OFF — how do you cook your drumsticks? And what would you serve with these — potatoes, rice, or salad?
