I love Leviton panel. Got one installed, have roughly 8 Gen 2 Smart breakers with the whole house monitor system (the WIFI version) is great. Cannot wait to start doing essential loads and having those breakers use my battery backup.

This looks really good and it is good to hear it. I am not a professional electrictian but I am looking to expand my 60amp sub panel in my garage to allow for welding, a car charger, and air compressor. There is a 60amp braker run to this smaller sub panel from the house panel. The house panel is actually a sub panel also because I had an addition put on my house and the actual panel is next to the meter base. I got a solar system installed and they spliced that into the main panel next to the meter base. I am thinking just to be safe I just want to put in another 200amp panel from the main panel, bypass that sub panel, and add an actual breaker for the solar. At no point do I think the entire house will ever exceed 200 amps but why risk it with strip heat, electric tankless water heater, dryer, and the lot. Just run the extra drop and keep the things like the chargers, welder, servers, and everything else on a seperate run.

I learned its not the nec code its the local inspector that determines what's the code for your area.

At several continuing education classes were told that the ground to neutral bars screw & bar for all subpanel must be thrown out to prevent somebody in the future from installing them

What about derating rules to be able to use 2awg?

Who uses the 75 degree coloum. Standard is always 90 degrees. Hence "NMD-90 (ROMEX)"..."T90 (STRANDED WIRE)".   Just use RW90. Its rated for 100A. Single conductor in a raceway. !  But if you are feeding a sub panel with 2/3 AL ROMEX, it's not only rated for 95A.
