  I’m surprised nobody is saying about the real world that Momon isekai’d from, it was truly a dystopian cyberpunk bad future ass world, like hyper-post-capitalist society. Think of the London smog during industrialization, but crank that to a thousand. Plants were a rarity in that world, so that’s why the Tomb of Nazzarik had like genuine modern comforts and living conditions, cause it was pure fantasy for those living in that real world.

  Honestly, the anime adaptation for Overlord got hoed. I really enjoyed watching all of it, but then I found out just how much shit they skip over and cut out. Deadass S1 could have been like 30 episodes with all the content the light novels had. Same goes for all the other seasons, and especially the movie (the amount of shit they cut out there is kind of absurd).
