  I’m at that age where birthday, Christmas gifts , etc have meaning from me. My mortality won’t be forever. My health sucks. I just started canning. I was looking for a homemade Christmas gift for my family. Something they will love and cherish. Your video showed up. This is exactly what I want to do!!! I’m so excited!!   I love rag quilts. You can save articles of clothing that had special meaning to your child. When you have enough to make a quilt from their clothes you will also have a wonderful memory quilt for them too.

  My mom recently passed away and she has all sorts of craft projects and fabric all kinds of things that she never got finished or even started for that matter. I was looking for some directions on a specific kit that she bought. I think Kim just came across your video. You did such an amazing job explaining that quilt that I think I can actually make one and I haven’t so since middle school or maybe my early 20s I’m now 56. I think I’m gonna take some of her fabrics and see if I can do something small to try it out and then see if I can make a bigger one. Thanks for doing such an amazing job explaining all of that that was really really good. Great pace great volume. Great voice great camera angles really good. Keep up the great work. You’re super talented.

  I’m a beginner simple quilter. The 5 I have done have been by hand. I’ve been looking at a sewing machine, and your talk through, conversational instructions make things less intimidating. I love your beautiful 20 year old quilts. Nice to know the rag quilt wears so well. Thank you.
