Hong Kong reverted from British to chinese rule in 1997. I knew this depression would happen. Hong Kong once was the economic capital of Asia.. It kept its momentum during the first few decades of chinese rule. But today we see what the CCP has really done to all of china. The bottom has fallen out.

So sad, 15 years ago it was still bustling and alive. Shops everywhere, micro malls packed, open untill 10pm and restaurants all over... You couldn't rent a space in Mong Kok even if you wanted to open a store, now it's all empty shops. They should never have allowed Tao Bao (Chinese Temu), nobody shops in real life anymore.
