TEAM! I MESSED UP.

Unfortunately, I can't be perfect all the time 😂and I drew the DRY weight from the none storm version on the website!! It is pretty much the same weight, both around 317kg wet. Sorry for any confusion! It just felt a lot heavier than I remember which corroborated with my incorrect stat!

Hope you can forgive me, love you, bye!

A completely different experience to any other bike on the planet, expensive yes but you pay for exclusivity. If only I could afford it, great video Kate as usual.

G'day from Oz ( Australia ), Kate ! ... Great to have a ladies perspective on the R3 :) .... My lovely wife ( 5' 7" , 105Lbs and very "leggy" ) hasn't ridden my 2022 R3 GT ( with the R position pegs on it ) yet - but I've only owned it for a couple of months and I'm still sorting it out / it hasn't been "on the road" for much - as yet ... but, as soon as It's finished having the upgrades done, she WILL be trying it out. ( She's ridden every bike I've owned for the past 30 years - the V-Max, various Harleys, Indian Chiefs, V85 Moto Guzzi, Victory JACKPOT, various trikes etc - and her daily ride is a Softail Heritage Harley ... so I have zero doubt that she will be able to handle the Rocket 3 when it's ready :) She used to ride the V-Max in to downtown Sydney at night - to pick me up from work after I'd finish, and she always had stories for me about some idiot in a car trying to blow her off on the Yamaha - only to learn the hard way about what the V-Max is capable of - HA !!! .... I can't wait for her to try the R3 out !!! ... For me, the Rocket 3 is just a constant rush of adrenalin - I can't stop smiling when I ride her :) :) :) .... and once it's finally properly set up for me ( I'm a BIG boy ) - rear suspension upgraded, quick shifter fitted, front crash bars ( somewhere to mount the LED Driving / SPOT lights ( a MUST if you are an "all weather / night & day rider" in Oz ) and also the airhorn !!! ( I cannot believe HOW PATHETIC the R3 horn IS :( ... ), customised exhaust and the CPU remapped on a Dyno to release the FULL power ( you ARE aware that "even in SPORT mode - you only ever get 60% of the power" - yes ?!?!? ) - THEN the fun r-e-a-l-l-y starts ! :) ... Thanks for the review - I'll show it to the gorgeous ( like you ), wife ! ... ( BTW - YES, you are correct, the bike DOES "stand up" when you get on the throttle - it's the mechanical reaction of the shaft drive trying to "climb up" the rear wheel crown wheel in the hub - an unavoidable effect on all shaft drive bikes ... everything has an "action / reaction" - as the shaft tries to turn the rear wheel by pushing down on the crown wheel gear, the reaction is that the shaft wants to "climb the gear' - which LIFTS the rear up slightly as you accelerate hard ... simples ! ... retired Engineer, here ) - LOVE to see petite, feminine women handling big bikes like the R3 :) - STAY SAFE !!!

Every time you see the Rocket 3, it screams "look at me, look at the engine, look at the exhaust". It's a real beast of a bike. To be honest, I'm surprised that Chopsy didn't buy one. His height and build as a portly gentleman, suits him to the ground

I'm on my 2nd 3GT with mid position footrests & Quickshifter.
When you ride a new one, I've found it good to put the Rear Shock as soft as possible. It's still hard & takes around 1000 miles to soften up.
I prefer the 3GT with swept back bars, heated grips, a slightly larger fly screen & the cissy bar is handy for strapping luggage to or secure your helmet to it. (Also, stops you losing pillion riders 😂 )
I also fitted mid position foot rests (like the 3R) ; I can't ride feet forward.

Maybe the Autobahns, definitely the American Interstate motorways, but we don't have the roads over here to enjoy that beast to it's fullest.

I have had my Rocket TFC for over 5 years now. Same power output as the Storm. It is a masterpiece of motorcycle engineering. It is not my only bike (all Triumph) but it is the one that I will never sell. I'm 30,000 miles in and have done numerous tours (last one being 12 countries in 12 days). It is perfection for me. And yes, the quickshifter is sublime (standard on the TFC). All pros, no cons!
