  99% of casual observers will say 'hey that's a GTR!', then after it passes by, they'll say 'Holy crap was that a four-door? I've never even seen a 4-door GTR that must be like the rarest car in the world'. And they will tell their friends, and eventually one of them will break the bad news. But in that moment, he was a believer.

  Thanks for your service Tam.  Retired AF here.  I was stationed at Yokota Japan 2007-2010.  I bought an auto R32 GTST for only $1500.  The non GTRs are a dime a dozen over there, and they hall have turbos.  They also have a used parts market there too.  I bought a used HKS exhaust and 4 new wheels for like $300 and an engine brace for like $50.  I remember one day I went to throw my trash in the dumpters at the apartments on base, inside was a used turbo and HKS BoV.   You would never see stuff like that here in the states.  Almost everyone I knew had the non GTR or non Evo or non WRX version, they just added better rims, exhaust, etc or maybe a bigger turbo without paying a rediculous amount of money.  I had a friend who used to drift his 4 door R33.

  Tam, thank you so much for your openness regarding your PTSD and for sharing your car. You have it 100% right imo. The older we get, the more we put into perspective what is important. And I definitely thing the 4 doors and trunk space are a must have

  Props to the owner for seemingly not covering it in GT-R badges, I saw an R34 GT with GTR badges the other day, and it’s as cringey as seeing a n M badge on a non M BMW. <br><br>Also man, his story hit hard, but was also incredibly inspiring.

  There is also a R34 GTT 2 door. Also another fun fact, GTT&apos;s are rwd and not awd.
