Thank you! -----------------------------­-------- We recently took a road trip to the New England in the US to visit Niagara Falls, Walden Pond, Baxter State Park, Mt. Katahdin, Mt. Washington, and more. For the final leg of the trip we headed to Baxter State Park where Mt. Katahdin is located. We first headed to Bangor, Maine to very briefly check out the town and have breakfast at a local coffee shop. Then, it was off to Baxter State Park and we could see Mt. Katahdin in the distance. When we arrived at Baxter State Park, we headed to Kidney Pond to canoe. Kidney Pond is one of the ponds where you can easily rent canoes to enjoy the lake. After canoeing, we headed to our campground where we had a campfire dinner and did some camp cooking before heading to bed early. The next day we'd be hiking Mt. Katahdin, the northern terminus of the Appalachian Trail. Stay tuned for Part 2 of the road trip where there is much more to come from Mt. Katahdin and Lake Kathdin.
