It was a sad day for me when I learned that she had passed away and the World is poorer without Beegie. May She Rest In Peace.

I just cannot understand WHY a thousand (stoopid) people did NOT liked this! Fortunately there were more than 40,000 of us who ENJOYED it very much!

Wikipedia: "Among Adair’s influences were George Shearing, Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson, and Erroll Garner."

The lady studied well. You can hear Shearing and Peterson all over this track. What a classy player!!

her keystroke is simply sensational; fast, precise and with an unrivaled elegance and lightness. Unfortunately she passed away in January 2022. RIP

The best jazz pianist that I know in my live time , she was born to play and I'm sure she is still playing in the heavens , I was fortunate to travel to many of her concerts and had the pleasure of taking her out to a very elegant restaurant for dinner 22 years ago I had her visit my home in California and we both played together at the Baked Potato . I definitely do miss her as a dear friend . Fredrick Gendall

Beegie Adair, Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson and Erroll Garner are all the artists who inspired me to learn to play piano! She is at the top of that list.

 10代の頃、この曲を聴いて、品の良いショットバーをやりたいな、と思っていたオジサンの願いは叶いませんでしたが、今、一人、曲を聴きながらショットバー状態です🎵

I only recently discovered her amazing talent. So sorry she is gone. But she leaves behind treasures for generations to enjoy.

i love this rendition, very clean jazz - no crazy frills just improv over the melody. absolute classic
