A Viewer Sent Me a DESPERATE Message for help... It Led to the BIGGEST JOB OF THE YEAR!

  I’ve seen several comments on this video, and I’ve received emails from people saying they don’t believe this family deserved my help. <br> <br>I know sometimes the full story of the homeowner doesn’t come across in the video. That is probably my fault. I’m not the best at scripting a story or using AI to church up what is going on. Most of the time I just show up, do the work, and tell you what I know. <br> <br>But I do want to take a moment to defend these homeowners. <br> <br>Annemarie told me she has lupus, and during the time I was working on the property she was also receiving chemotherapy for cancer. I didn’t dig into what kind of cancer she has because I didn’t feel like that was any of my business. But I do know that between lupus, cancer, and chemotherapy, it has to take a toll on her body and her energy. <br> <br>As for her husband, he seemed like a great guy. From talking with him, I know he is a contractor. As someone who has been a self-employed contractor for many years, I can tell you that when you get injured, injuries have a way of getting worse and compounding over time because you don’t always have the luxury of stopping. <br> <br>You don’t get paid vacation days. You don’t get PTO. There isn’t a company taking care of you while you recover. Sometimes you just keep working, pray you can make it until the slow season, and hope your body has enough time to recover before things get busy again. <br> <br>Here is what I know for sure. <br> <br>This man may have a belly… SO DO I, by the way 😂. But that doesn’t make him lazy, and it certainly doesn’t mean he doesn’t care about his property. <br> <br>In fact, from what I saw, every stone and brick in that landscaping was laid by him. That is a MASSIVE amount of work. And as you can see in the after shots, the landscaping really does look good. Someone put a lot of time, effort, and pride into that property. <br> <br>But when you and your spouse both get sick, everything else gets put on the back burner. Including the lawn. <br> <br>Many of you who watch my other channel know that my wife has Crohn’s disease. We found out when she was 18 after an emergency surgery where they removed about two feet of her intestines. During our marriage, she has easily spent close to a year in the hospital altogether. Three or four weeks here. Two weeks there. <br> <br>And when she is in the hospital, I am there too. <br> <br>I don’t leave her side because I am her advocate and her caretaker, but most of all because I love her. When she wakes up hurting, I want to be there. If she wants a warm blanket, I’ll walk down the hall and get one instead of making her wait 30 minutes for a busy nurse making rounds. <br> <br>And you know what happens to my lawn while I’m sitting beside my wife in the hospital? <br> <br>I COULD CARE LESS how tall my grass gets. <br> <br>I’ll figure it out when I can get to it. <br> <br>I know the same thing is true for a lot of people going through hardships in life. I pray that you never have to experience the pain of sitting beside someone you love, wondering if they are going to make it through the night and wishing more than anything that you could take their pain away. <br> <br>I’ve had people tell me I shouldn’t have done this property because there was trash. Others have said these people weren’t worthy of my help because of how they looked. <br> <br>I want to make something very clear. <br> <br>Who I help is not up to me. <br> <br>I let the Lord lead me where to go, and I believe every property I end up working on is the property the Lord has me at for a reason. <br> <br>Sometimes it is to clean up a lawn. <br> <br>Sometimes it is to help a neighbor who would have never asked for help themselves. <br> <br>And every now and then, maybe it is simply so the person living there has someone to talk to for a little while. <br> <br>The truth about life is that ALL of us will get older. All of us will eventually get sick.   Kevin, you started all of this and I still am trying to wrap it around my mind why your channel doesn&apos;t have more than 10 mil subscribers. No one would be doing these if your vision wasn&apos;t implemented. I know the algorithm isn&apos;t what it use to be but we are still here and we support your content. &nbsp;Peace&amp;love

  The amount of obstacles in this property even after the clean up make my head hurt. I cannot imagine having to keep that property maintained...too busy! Much respect for all you and your family do for so many communities Kevin. God bless you and your family.

  Just one more thing. Don’t apologize for helping people. People don’t need to know everything as they wouldn’t like it about themselves. The brick work that man did before he got injured is incredible!!!

  Your daughter&apos;s reaction was pure sweet joy! She&apos;s growing up so fast and becoming so confident in front of the camera now. She used to be so shy and she&apos;s becoming a real help this past year. Kevin keep up what you&apos;re doing with your family because it sure seems to be working brother!

  This is the closest thing to an archaeological dig I have ever seen on YT. &nbsp;So many terrific brick paths and islands of plantings. &nbsp;So much work covered by nature. &nbsp;I am so impressed, both by the work you’ve done to uncover it, and by the work that must have been done to put it all there in place. &nbsp;Every section of the clean-up has revealed another delightful piece of the whole. &nbsp;Great video!
