Okay, but banning love potions is a based move. Love potions are messed up.

Gonna say it again, but I absolutely love the graphic textures for this movie. Everything these days feels so... plastic? This movie makes me think we're actually in a real world. It feels like we actually could pluck those blueberries and they'd be real in my hands. Insane. It's honestly gorgeous.

You know what? Major props to George Lucas for creating something interesting for little girls, and respecting them enough to treat them as a serious audience. All of these creatures LOOK like George Lucas creations, he doesn’t make them all overly cute because of some perception of what little girls like. It’s a nice mix of stuff that’s “for girls” like fairies, princesses, and romance, but it’s got an edge to it that sends the message that it doesn’t expect girls to fit someone else’s definition of “loveable”. Marianne doesn’t have to dilute herself for the Bog King, she can be truly herself around him, and they connect over their similar heartbreaks! It’s a pretty fun Beauty and the Beast story 😊

My guess is that some of the songs from the first upload were copyrighted. I’ll happily watch the video again tho xD

Fairy enemies to lovers version of beauty and the beast is a great idea and the songs were bangers

Actually, the reason why primroses grow on the border between the fairy kingdom and the dark forest is because they prefer partial shade

The Marketing for this movie failed. Also, I don't know why critics don't like it. I LOVE that movie for all its cheesyness. The style is beautiful. The amount of reaction shots is great.

13:35 Is so much funnier silent since it seems like he’s confused about everything being suddenly silent.
