  This is just a clear example of how modern games are less and less deigned by a unique "sub culture" of passionate game designers, and more constructed under corporate blandness that strictly prioritizes revenue over personality. The old games incorporated that punk-skate culture with the crude jokes, disrupting the public, and skating around animals etc... It fully encapsulated the spirit and rebellious nature of that which street skating IS. Taking it all out feels like stripping the game of it's soul.

  No matter how hard I try, I can’t enjoy these remakes as much as this original and the main thing that bugs me is the speed and pace. I find the old game soothing and relaxing while these remakes are so stressful 😂

  The censorship is predictable in today’s society. Corporate forgets the whole rebellious nature of skate culture, missing the point and ultimately causing them more money then saved.

  I would have loved the 2000s edgy humor and crude jokes return. It was a signature part of that era and I hate seeing it removed. They probably wanted to keep that E rating rather than just accept the T rating and have the sexy and crude humor
