I remember going to see John Holt at Hammersmith Apollo . I was late getting there because it was raining cats and dogs  so I only see the end of the Freddie McGregor performance  I was a bit gutted. But forgotten shortly when I see John Holt  my ultimate Idol in all of music  since 1990 . As a white man I have promoted John Holt's music since 1990    with family and friends did not really listen to reggae music until they listen to Johns singing . And you know how it goes the rest is history . Hardcore reggae fans for life. Yes I know I'm waffling 🥱🥱👍🇬🇧🇯🇲

I went to this concert at the Hammersmith Apollo, with my late husband, it is a treasured memory, always remember Martin being pissed, because he forgot his weed.<br>Played John Holt at his funeral in July 24 - RIP Martin &amp; John only the good die young.

I recently saw Freddy a few weeks ago, his first show after his stroke and I pretty much cried for the whole performance. It wasn’t the first time I’ve seen him live but the performance felt so special I was glad to have experienced it
