  Seeing this guy meet Mike and talk about how surreal it was really hit home. I’ve watched Outdoors With The Morgans religiously for years, and Mike was actually one of the people who inspired me to finally start my own channel. When I’m filming, I still find myself keeping channels like this and Outdoor Boys in the back of my mind because they’re a huge part of what got me into creating outdoor content in the first place. It’s been a crazy journey, and now we’re closing in on 8,000 subscribers in just over a year. Pretty wild to think it all started with watching guys like Mike doing what they love. Would be awesome to shake his hand someday and thank him in person. Keep it up, Mike!

  I grew up in a small township about 30 minutes northwest of Highland Township, MI. It’s very interesting to hear Rick speak on the preservation work he does. He sounds like a great guy who has the best interest of his community at heart. Looking forward to the finished project of the Highland Township signs. They’re going to be beautiful.

  Good morning Michael &nbsp;job well done you build some Lumber and made an old timers day. I say old-timer and I&apos;m one of them it&apos;s just a well seasoned older Man.<br><br>Speaking of motorcycle rides about 4 years ago some buddies of mine we went on the M22 run up through Michigan it was awesome we went to a park where it was sand dunes it was incredible had no idea Michigan had that much sand in it sing all the lighthouses went through Traverse City it was nice we were on our Harleys camping out at the campgrounds and RV resorts for 2 weeks it was good times it&apos;s all about making memories.

  Good morning. I finished watching your video in which you and your guest were discussing the topic of saving history. I would like to relate a story that really saddens me. It regards the demolition of a nationally recognized monument. Please forgive me if I’m too long winded. There was a building in our town of Calumet MI in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan that was the scene of a union/company strike in 1913. It’s known as the Italian Hall Disaster in which 73 people, 64 of whom were children, were killed when an unknown person yelled FIRE at a union Christmas Eve party for the strikers children. The building stood for decades after this happened and was listed on the National Registry. A person on the Calumet Village Council was determined to have it razed, which it was, and the only thing left is the archway of the entrance. The building, though unused, was structurally sound. So much so that the wrecking ball could not destroy it without a major job. The village later became a National Park and the only thing that remains of that tragedy is the archway. Very sad ending to a building that has national significance. A candlelight vigil is held there every Christmas Eve to honor those who died. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
