You'd make a great shop teacher because you explain the subject matter in simple terms and don't try over complicate the lesson plan . it makes learning fun and gives people the courage to try doing new projects .

The clay makes it really clear what is happening to the metal. I've tried doing this a couple of times in the past and had great success one time and got a flat panel messed up so bad I had to replace it the second time. Looks like I was using way too much heat. I was heating up an area red hot with an OxyAcetylene torch, then hammering (pounding like hell?) on dolly to flatten down the bump, then cooling. More cave man work than finesse. Thanks for showing it doesn't take a lot of heat and when to hit on or off dolly.
