I am from HK myself so I know how initimidating those wet market or hawker centre restaurants are when those people know very little to no English. It is very good for dad to take his family to somewhere to visit that are very different than the usual places people would go when on holiday, just to understand the local culture, and very adventurous to go the the most local wet market for food adventure eating just the local. I bet the kids will appreciate different culture more when they grow up and not afraid to mix with the locals. Good on the mum and dad.

The man from the curry shop is so nice, he told the lady to put the food nicely so the family can try something else from other stores. I like the way the little one eating duck meat😂😂I love all your kids. They are super cute!

One tip: when you are having hongkong style french toast, you may spread the melting butter all over the toast first, let it blend into the maple syrup a little bit, then enjoy your treat. 😊

The potato-look vege is white radish, something like carrot. It is very popular in those noodles. It’s called cart noodles (車仔麵).

It seems that Hong Kong people are very helpful, especially when you don’t understand the menu or the food, many angels will appear around you to help you. 😄👍💖

When you get a very patient loving head papa educator leading his home schooled troopers alongside a supportive mama with the little one in tow…you know they will be well trained and brought up properly…can see your kids are growing up to be future responsible citizens of the world …your kids are so fortunate to have educators as parents ❤

That food store owner who spoke English was very kind instructing to give more rice. The soup he provided is for cooling our body down in summer with ingredients like Winter Melon = Wax Gourd and the mini beans etc. The veg in mixed stuffs noodle is Turnip.
