  For those who don&apos;t know about the story behind Bach&apos;s Brandenburg concertos. &nbsp;In 1721, Bach composed six “concertos for various instruments”. He dedicated them to a German nobleman and sent the manuscript as a gift, hoping to land a job as the court composer in Brandenburg. &nbsp;The nobleman never replied. Bach eventually took another job in Leipzig, where he lived for the rest of his life. &nbsp;The 6 concertos were lost for 130 years. &nbsp;They were never performed. The manuscript was eventually sold for about $20 and shelved in a library. &nbsp;The Brandenburg Concertos sat there until 1849, when they were discovered and published for the first time. &nbsp;Thank god.

  This is so BRANDENBURG ... &nbsp;I am living since 30 years in Asia but every time i am listening to this i remembering my roots and where i am coming from. This music is not just music, its the nature of a wonderful &nbsp;german area in the northeast. Brandenburg, close to &nbsp;Berlin, with its fields, forests, lakes and rivers, it sounds like all of this together and when i close my eyes i can see the nature of Brandenburg all around. &nbsp;Thanks a &nbsp;lot J.S.Bach ♥

  My first exposure to Bach was my parents 8 track of “Swiched on Bach”<br>1968 when I was 6 years old<br>The results were permanent<br>Musician for life

  Maakte kennis met dit muziek in mijn prille jeugd, maar nu ouder en voor het eerst sinds &apos; 88 kinderloos, sereen en rustig genieten in het verlaten nest,met dit prachtige muziek,in de tuin met een glas rode wijn, 35 jaar op gewacht! Op dit moment.<br>Laat de wereld maar rond draaien, zolang mijn tomaten en druiven maar groeien.
