  Shocked to see 10 in your 8 spot. Especially since it usually ranks pretty high for people. So interesting how subjective these games are.

  I have a different list but it&apos;s purely based on nostalgia and impressions, which I find interesting. I discovered FF1 and FF2 (4) as a 1st grader in 1991 and the impact was deep. Even now, the music of these games will stop me in my tracks as the nostalgia washes over me. These games were so hard for a six-seven year old that Tiamat&apos;s fortress FF1 or the moon FF4 felt literally like I had fought my way to the real moon, you know, that weird feeling of being so far beyond yourself or your safety zone. Then FF3 (6) took over my life a few years later and blew my mind. But for some reason, none of the subsequent games, even FF7, reached me in the same place. I played through them until 12, but I haven&apos;t played one since. They just never reached me like those early games on my young impressionistic mind. For me, games peaked in 94-95, with FF3, Chrono, Secret of Evermore, Mana, Illusion of Gaia, etc. Just hasn&apos;t been equaled. For instance, I beat 9 for the first time (got to the end in Jr. High but never finished) while trying to recover from my first semester of grad school--to be honest, I can&apos;t remember the ending at all. FF10? Dropped it pretty quick. The voice acting turned me off. FF12? Loved it, couldn&apos;t tell you what it&apos;s about though. Yet I can recall vivid details of the entire story of FF1, 4, 6, Chrono, Mana, Evermore, Gaia, and to some degree FF7 to this day. So yeah, based on the criteria of forgettability and impression, I have:<br>1: FF6, 2: FF4, 3: FF1, 4: FF7, 5: FF12, 6: FF9, 7: FF5, 8: FF8, and there&apos;s no point ranking the rest.

  So awesome to see VIII and XII so high. Love both of them and replay them a lot as well. You really can&apos;t go wrong with the franchise for the most part as all games bring something great to the table. Nice list

  I wish I had friends that even knew what Final Fantasy was to make fun of me for it. In a rural area around &apos;99, most kids my age didn&apos;t have a clue.

  Wow - where to even start with this video, let’s first address the elephant in the room, how the hell are you only 2k subs??? That’s insane! The only quality and presentation of this video is on par with content creators with 100k subs+ it’s just fantastic! I was so impressed with the editing and your presentation of the whole video. I can see HUGE things in your future. It’s so so refreshing to see someone who can rank the final fantasy games objectively with their own true personal feelings and placing them where you truly feel they should be based on YOUR feelings rather than trying to appease the fan base and always have 6 7 and 9 top 3. I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever seen any list place 14 in their top 3 and that’s criminal! It should always be in every top 3. I massively enjoyed this video and would absolutely love to see more final fantasy videos from yourself, maybe an entire retrospective video per game, breaking them down game by game, I’d watch every one! U earnt a new sub instantly from this. I’ve been a content creator for over 3 years and I can foresee you overtaking me very quickly! Keep up the great work.

  Great video! I recently played through all the games for the first time. Mostly agree with you on everything. VI, XII, and VIII were the ones that really stuck with me

  Interesting! I normally put IV in number 2. Mostly because it’s simplicity means it’s easy to pick up. And the story hooks you up right from the start compared to slower starts.
