  this reminds me two of the most important lectures i had when i was beginning to paint.<br>(i paint digitally so there might be some mistranslation when it comes to painting )<br>one is that real life often never go above the 50% saturation mark on any digital program, and full whites and full darks are impossible to see ( even when you stare at the sun XD)<br>and the 2nd is that we see in contrast, even when the values saturation and hue may be off, as long as the contrast stays the same, the study will look ok (also saturation hue and values can be interchangeable based on intent)<br>which kind of leads to the problem with most artistic problems are just intent problems, because most often than not, we just like to shoot arrows for shootings sake, no matter if there is a target or not XP<br>awesome video as always!

  I teach watercolor…I have my students use a white piece of YUPO paper and punch a small hole in the center of a small square. &nbsp;You can then lay the YUPO square on top of your photograph and match the color. &nbsp;Because YUPO is plastic you can wiped the color off with watercolor and reuse over and over. &nbsp;It works great. &nbsp;This was a wonderful lesson for oil and acrylics thank you for sharing.
