Raising 1,000 Caterpillars (They Turn to Goo)

I Raised 1,000 Butterflies in my Bedroom! #BombPopPartner In this video, we hatch 1,000 caterpillars over the course of 50 days! And at the end, I'm building my new pets their very own butterfly greenhouse: The Wingdom! We couldn’t have beat the summer heat without Bomb Pop! Thank you for fueling our build and for sponsoring this video :) These tiny creatures eat their own body weight every single day and are easily some of the most fascinating insects I've ever raised. But nothing could've prepared me for their transformation and how wild this metamorphosis experiment would get... ♡ Get your Lucy & Lemon plush toys: https://aquariuminfo.com/ (worldwide shipping 🌎) ☞ Your purchase directly helps care for the animals in the studio and supports us to make incredible content for you! Kirby & Noodle Throughout this episode, Jamie struggles to keep 1,000 hungry caterpillars alive in the studio. What starts as a tiny test tube of eggs quickly turns into a massive feeding frenzy overnight. There is one unexpected hitchhiker in particular who stands out from the rest: Queenie the Monarch! Jamie explores evolution and uses DIY engineering to craft custom habitats, like the Grub Club and the Hex Hotel, to build their dream home and protect them from predators. While Jamie and Joelle build, Outdoor Adam travels to the wild Olympic National Park to traverse the deep rainforest in search of a wild butterfly. Adam’s mission is to survive the extreme wilderness, avoid giant banana slugs, and track down exactly where these beautiful insects live in nature! Watch until the end to see how Jamie's 50 day science experiment goes...
