  I know the lupo gti isn't a golf but i think it evokes original golf gti very well from a modern standpoint would love to see a lupo in this company

  I have 2 of these here in southafrica,one heavily modified and one stock standard,they are still common over here and parts are extremely cheap.I like my original one more,best car ever made in my opinion and super reliable....

  Damn, I miss Alex. Where is he now?<br>And just remembered: the captain of my high school had an MK1 GTI when we were seniors. That little thing could get up and go. Good memories.

  I had an early 1.6 and the ex mother in law would testify to the firmness of the shocks 😀! The engine seized/ my ex was driving?? Got a 1.8 out of an A reg and yes it was smashing 🤣. I&apos;ve had mk 2&apos;s and they were a proper all rounder and still massive smiles ☺️
