  In the US Jelly is made from fruit juice thickened. &nbsp;Jam has more actual fruit in it. &nbsp;Then there are Preserves which has more fruit yet. &nbsp;That is the difference in the names. &nbsp;Yes Milk is very good with PB &amp; J.<br>😃

  If we put butter on our sandwiches it is on the exterior so that we can Grill it such as a grilled cheese sandwich.

  It a matter of choice .In my family most of the time we had strawberry jam with our PP and J. &nbsp;Jam is thicker and contains bits of fruit . Jelly on the other hand is made more from fruit juice and has a smooth texture.

  When I was in elementary school and the kids that brought their own lunches instead of going through the lunch line, I&apos;d wager at least half had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. It would take your mom like 30 seconds to make it, throw in a bag of chips with a juice box. Oh the memories lol

  Hello! &nbsp;I’m from the US. &nbsp;I grew up eating PB&amp;J and still enjoy them regularly as a meal or snack. &nbsp;We have both jelly and jam here in the states. &nbsp;They are two different things. &nbsp;I actually prefer jam but both are very good. &nbsp;Grape jelly is traditionally what is used but my favorite is blackberry jam. &nbsp;I often make the sandwich and then toast it. &nbsp;A cold glass of milk is a must have for me with this sandwich. &nbsp;Cheers!
