What they’re completely ignoring here are the boats from the Netherlands, such as the Contest series, designed by the famous Dick Zaal (all with Lloyd’s Register certification, which involves the most rigorous audits in the world), or all of Koopman’s boats, whether made of aluminum or fiberglass. I sail a Contest 38s ketch in the North Atlantic (over 4,000 Nm) and would choose it over any HR any day.
