  Oh how lovely and thoughtful of you to spare her further pain. That is true love. My heart goes out to you dear friend thinking of that very painful time in your life. Don't ever feel you may have made the wrong decision not to let her hear the song. You were protecting her, and also protecting yourself from the painful memory of possibly having to relive that fragile moment with her.   I love that Dan Rather is narrating this. In the face-to-face interviews Perry and Rather appear to have a genuine rapport. That comes from a mutual respect for each man delivering nothing but quality and kraft.
