I grew up as a young child listening to these artists.. I even sent JLP an email when I was 8 or so asking for advice as a young musician. He emailed back a long letter of encouragement. I haven't heard these artists in many years and hearing them is bringing tears to my eyes and a flood of energy to my heart. Thank you for this.

The genius of John McLaughlin. He could have made it all about him, but instead he chose to make music. A true virtuoso with a soul of humility and grace. He could show anybody up anytime, anywhere. But he just plays with a smile on his face, doing whatever he can to add rather than distract from the song. Amazing guitarist and a wonderful human being.

I just heard the news about Zakir passing. I have been playing this over and over again. The eye contact between Jean-Luc and Zakir is incredible ... they all know each other intuitively.

It feels as if three masters are having intimate conversation through their instruments. and we are outsiders eavesdropping!

The world needs more of this. Stop the anger, hatred, & division for the children's sake, please!

I really appreciate how these three Master musicians allow patience and Grace to open up the composition and to let it breathe.

John mc laughlin, that is a serious chapter in music history that are missing. Yes i know he is still among us thank god. But i know he will be ignored like many others. He is our brother for humanity and love.

We know John can play fire breathing guitar so it’s such a pleasure to hear him play with such subtlety and restraint.
