  Interestingly, some of these fixes were already in the GOG version, and for a while in the 2010s everyone in the community would <b>heavily</b> recommend the GOG version over the Steam version for sake of those technical fixes. I think the Steam version might now mirror the GOG version, but it&apos;s thanks to the GOG version that younger me was able to see how it has aged much (much) better than many other titles its age (at least from the perspective of a &quot;cusper&quot; between Millennials and Gen Z). GOG&apos;s level of commitment to games preservation is always worth commending.

  I think the success of Oblivion remastered shows that people would prefer to keep the funny jank that contributed to the overall experience. <br><br>Keep bug fixes to universally frustrating things you mentioned: crashes, memory leaks, items disappearing, dialogue not working properly, etc...

  This video led to one of those awful ADHD moments: &nbsp;i stopped around <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDGmxE_G5PI&amp;t=306">5:06</a> due to thinking, &quot;hmm i wonder which language they wrote it in, i&apos;m presuming C but let&apos;s look&quot;. So off to Wikipedia I go and it leads to a huge spiral down various companies, the people that worked at those companies, a reminder that about 3-4 people were involved in most of my favourite games... Annnnnd almost three hours later i come back, press play, and under 3 seconds later Tim says &quot;we coded it in C&quot;

  The Inkspots copywrite issue is legit. I got hit with a strike on YouTube when I uploaded a playthrough of Fallout 1 a few years back and didn&apos;t realize that into song was still protected.

  I think a fallout 1 with updated art assets and being able to run on modern system would be extremely popular. Especially for new fans who havent played the OG&apos;s.

  I was ten years old when i first saw Fallout in Wal-Mart. Every weekend after I first found that game, I looked for it and was absolutely mesmerized by the concept of the game, pre-internet with no way to talk to anyone about the game and what it was about. The world you helped create is terrifying and amazing.<br><br>Thank you.
