I became a widow exactly two months ago, and I would like to say that the why files helped me cope during my darkest moments. My late husband and I are big fans of the why files.

Edit: thanks for all the well wishes, I didn't expect that, I just thought to thank why files makers, I am adding this for the people who said I'm seeking attention, I lost my husband to stage 4 non small cell lung cancer that spread to his lymphnodes and brain, uncal herniation eventually killed him.

My wife died back in April and she got me on to The WhyFiles. Watching an episode reminds me of her snuggled up to me watching this

I am going through a tough episode of depression. Its 2:35 am in my country and most regular people went to sleep hours ago. Why files gives me just enough dopamine to keep me going. At least there's something I can watch all through to the end without deviating to my sorrows. Thank you Why files.

As a Christian, I thoroughly appreciate how respectful you are. In a world so full of hate, you're a breath of fresh air AJ.

Thumbs this up if AJ doesn’t realize how much we like the old episodes he’s too hard on himself

no need to be so critical of old episodes, it is not the video quality that makes us hooked on your show it is the research, the content and of course hecklefish

Before I start the video.. I wanted to say a prayer for you .
Lord I pray you heal Andrew's anxiety and any sadness in him. Lord I pray he feels your holy spirit and your grace and love. I pray you give him the confidence and strength to get through his battle with anxiety and give him rest . Lord I pray my brother here knows the people that watch his videos care about him and I pray he has surrendered to you and picked up his cross. His informational videos bring joy to the world of YouTube and you have given this man a wonderful gift. I also pray his wife is doing well. Lord thank you for allowing his mind to be open to your gospels. And lord thank you for giving him the platform to share information with us. We are so blessed . In Jesus name I pray amen.

I watched Shawn's episode with aj so thats why I pray for his anxiety to rid of. Thank you for sharing that with the world. You are not alone and god has a plan for you Andrew 🙏 ✨️

AJ, plenty of people will put you and your productions down. Don't do it to yourself. Most of us consider all your work stellar, even the early stuff. ❤❤

Stop being so hard on yourself for your older stuff. It made you what you are today. Be proud. Own it.

My son greatly admired your work and turned his brother and me, his mother, on to watching the Why Files. It's our favorite channel that we listen to on our way to the YMCA, which is a 30 minute drive. My son worked on the radio, so he really knew a lot more about what goes into the preparation for a single show. You kept him company during his 40 days in the hospital, and his 30 days in physical therapy. He passed 10 days after making it home. He greatly admired your work and I thank you for "being there" when we couldn't and helping him fill his last days on this plane of existence with entertainment that kept his mind off his situation and gave him a mental reprieve that saved his sanity. Pace yourself, keep doing what you love and keep doing awesome content!

I love your voice! 🗣️🥰 It’s very soothing. That’s why people can listen to you for hours. That and also the fact that you do a lot of research for us so we don’t have to. ❤
