【りくりゅう 前編】氷に乗れない1年を越えた2人

Rikuryu (Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara) was a "not-yet-famous pair" that teamed up in the summer of 2019. Their first World Championships was cancelled by COVID four days before it opened. Staying on in Canada, the two spent a year in which they were not even allowed to hold hands. Even so, in March 2021 they won Beijing's Olympic spot in Stockholm. Part 1 traces the two years from their formation, through their own words and their Instagram records. ▼ Part 2 is here 【Rikuryu Part 2】The Day the Sting of Silver Became World No. 1 → 【りくりゅう 後編】銀の悔しさが世界一に変わった日 ▼ Table of contents 0:00 Opening 0:45 Introduction 2:24 Kensuke's preface 3:15 Chapter 1: The summer they teamed up 8:00 Chapter 2: A pair whose name wasn't known 13:24 Chapter 3: Not even allowed to hold hands 22:21 Preview of Part 2 ▼ What you'll learn in this video ・The lineage of partners before Ryuichi Kihara teamed up with Riku Miura in summer 2019 ・The 2019 Japanese Nationals, and Riku saying "We can never compete in the world with this score" ・The news, four days before it opened, that the World Championships in Montreal was cancelled ・A year in Canada where they were not even allowed to hold hands, and roller skating at home ・The words "If we endure now, something good will surely come" ・The 64.37 points that won Beijing Olympic spots in Stockholm in March 2021 ▼ Sources of footage and audio (honorifics omitted) 「三浦璃来／木原龍一」ペア編 ・ISU (International Skating Union) official, World Championships Saitama 2023 (March 2023) 　Interview: Bruno Marcotte - Miura / Kihara... ・Photos and videos: Instagram of 三浦璃来 (Riku Miura), 木原龍一 (Ryuichi Kihara), メーガン・デュハメル (Meagan Duhamel) and エリック・ラドフォード (Eric Radford) 　The source of each clip is also shown at the top right of the screen. ▼ Music ・Opening: Infinite Path by AudioLime（Pixabay） ・Music from Pixabay: Documentary by AtlasAudio／Journey Beyond by DesiFree／Heartwarming Story by alex-morgan 　Nostalgic by Luceris／Documentary Music by leberch／Uplifting by Kulakovka／Nostalgic by NastelBom 　Meditative Reflective Piano by echoes_of_lumen／Uplifting by leberch／Frosty Morning by leberch 　Orchestral by PaulYudin／Acoustic Guitar & Piano by Denis-Pavlov-M／Calm by PaulYudin ▼ Photo ・Wikimedia Commons: Sikander Iqbal（Public domain） ▼ About the production of this video This video uses AI (Claude) to make research, script writing and video editing more efficient.
