Thank you Vlogging Through History for your review of my video and apologies that it took me so long to see this. I appreciate your feedback and charity with regard to the ones you disagreed with me about. I am a fan of your channel and appreciate the work that you do. Cheers to you and good luck to you in the future!

It's really telling that John was such a bad king that noone ever became king of England again with that name, despite it being probably the most popular English male name

You talked a lot about kings who couldn't "read the room". When it comes to Edward VIII, I see him as the king who "left the room".

You should consider reacting to a "Top 10 Worst Byzantine Emperors" video. The Eastern Roman Empire is a criminally underrated subject.

Finally someone who agrees with me Richard the Lion Heart was a terrible King of England. Spent less than six months in his entire life in England. Nearly bankrupted the country to pay his ransom in Austria. He was a fearless and great warrior, but King? Love the channel keep up the good work.

The thought of Edward VIII having stayed on the throne is one of my most horrific "What if" thoughts. Wallis Simpson did the world a great service in getting him off the throne.

Vodka, tomato juice, and Worcestershire sauce = Bloody Mary cocktail.

As a young Brit, we are taught that Henry VIII was a charismatic, over indulgent, womaniser, who dissolved the church to get a divorce... Quite a chad.
But... The more I would read about him, he's basically a spoiled brat, who inherited the throne from an illegitimate usurper and ruined the nation in debt, stole the wealth of 1,000 years of the church, lost every war he started, and treated the country like a mafia boss, later dying fat, diseased and still a prick.
He's up there for my worst kings.

I would heavily recommend Brief History's 'Kings and Queens of England Tier LIst', I know you have already done a video on one that had an uncanny resemblance to your own but Brief History is extremely well-versed on the topic, having made videos on all of the individual monarchs. Can't wait to watch this video now ♥

3:06 he couldn’t get away with it BECAUSE of Henry the 8th and kings like him. The people were fed up.
