  We have never cruised but have watched La Lida Loca and Emma Cruises for several years and it's been a fascinating journey learning about cruising. This intro of what you actually do on embarkation day was very insightful! Thank you for the great information and humor. Really enjoy your channel.

  We do everything! Find the Spa/fitness center. Then we turn into 25 year olds , grab a few drinks before sail away and spend at least 5 of the days staying up late to hit all the theme parties dressed up , hit up a lot of the activities, and the shows!  We spent most our life as military members and early retirement at 55 and 63, we are enjoying ourselves on the kids’ inheritance!  lol😂

  Miami restaurant suggestion. Petrolunga! Italian food. Delish pizza, and pasta. They prepare a pasta in a giant cheese wheel at your table. Very good food and cool experience.

  1 All excursions and specialty dinning booked weeks ahead. 2 Also check for my passport multiple times before walking out of the house and then as I put my bag in the trunk. 3 Make sure I have tip cash in my pocket so tipping at the port is fast. 4 Head to the Lido for tacos while my travel mates wait in the longer line for burgers. 5 Go check the cabin to see if luggage has arrived. 6 Meet the room steward to give them a list of what we need in the cabin. ( I get extra bars of soap to use in the shower instead of the pump soap, extra pillows and mattress toppers, and ask for ice morning and evening.) 6 Muster station 7 Ship walk through (find the walking track, theaters, assigned dinning room and most importantly the piano bar.) 8 unpack. 9 Get a drink and watch sail away from either the Lido or balcony depending on the port. Always top of the ship if it's Tampa going under the Skyway. 10 Upack.

  12 out of 14     I add NAP before sail away so that I can stay up late as possible!   Don't need to prebook excursion/specialty rest. on my sailings.    ONLY take boarding picture IF I have a guest or group with me.   Great content!!!

  1.3,5,6,7,9,11, 12. I also try wiping down things I know I’ll be using. Toilet, sink, tables. Because I know someone probably just left and I have phobias😂and I carry disinfectant to spray the bed. Then it’s vacation mode for me.

  I call the travel day before the cruise “the day I ask my husband “do you have your passport?” 50 times.” He just loves when I do this🙄🙄🙄
