This is one of the most impressive stand up comedy performances of all time. The way he has total control whilst going off on mad tangents is just amazing.

Izzard at his peak. His masterpiece. I’ve watched this show dozens of times. I no longer watch it for the jokes (I know them all), but to admire and learn from his stagecraft and audience control. 5 minutes into the show, when he says “Taxi… of which there are FIVE”, applause erupts, and that’s the point he knows he has ‘won’ the audience. He now knows the evening will be a success. You can see him struggle to hold back a smile.

All Eddies stand up shows are rib achingly funny.... His intelligent writing and genius ad libbing are unmatched... This is how history should be learned... through tear inducing humour :) I really enjoyed seeing him taking you guys apart.. Thanks for the upload... it lifted my mood on a dark day x
