Tom - is is true the Cambridge maths course is designed for the top 5-10% or so of the offer holders? I've seen many posts by ex and current maths students claiming this and that as a result the majority of students actually learn very little deep maths as there is so much to cover in the Tripos so students are just focussed on doing everything to pass their exams vs a good uni at a slightly slower pace allowing for deep thinking and understanding?
