  Thanks for uploading the movie. &nbsp;My son and I did the Idaho BDR about 1 week before you in 2024 and it was nice to see much of the route again (we started in Jarbidge, NV). &nbsp;No fires along the BDR at that time so we did not need to deviate. &nbsp; Seem there was much more rain during your trip as we didn’t have to actually drive in rain but of course there was much more dust. &nbsp;I’m not sure why your group went to Grangeville instead of the BDR route to Florence but I assume there was a reason. &nbsp;I was interested to see how the route was near Florence since there was a logging operation going on at that time and the route was quite torn up and difficult to navigate. &nbsp;I didn’t see that Trinity lookout was done in your video but nice to see Burnt Knob which had great views to enjoy.<br><br>I’m not sure where you stayed on day five (around Hamilton) but when we were in that area a fellow traveler told us about several free dispersed campsites around Lake Como. &nbsp;It was nice with a great view of the lake.<br><br>Looks like you took HWY 12 from Lolo to Powell as the BDR site recommended (because of the Elk Meadows bridge repair) but Montana’s<br>forest service site explained that by going to Forest Road 37 you could get back on what is the BDR route. &nbsp;Actually, this section was our favorite and it’s too bad the BDR site neglects to mention there was a way to enjoy this section via FR 37. &nbsp;The BDR site says it is a “bridge washout” but actually it’s a scheduled repair. <br><br><br>Look like you also skipped Char Falls, Lunch Peak and Roman Nose. &nbsp;I assume there was not enough time.

  Rode it top to bottom by myself my first time in 2020 during covid. So almost no one on the whole route. 2nd time i made it top down to that awesome road yoi mentioned jusy south of Yellow Pine....Warm Lake Road. One of my most favorite roads i have ever riden. I grew up on sport bikes and really wish i was on one on that road. But incredible road. Curves and massive elevation change.
