Drachisms of the day:

- A bunch of man who were insanely aggressive, or potentially aggressively insane

- A heavily armed floating asylum full of like-minded sailors and then pointed in the general direction of the enemy before being let loose while everybody else took cover to watch the ensuing carnage

Please never change Drach

I like the idea that destroyer captains were essentially just rabid ankle-biting little dogs.

"The Eskimo is coming in for repairs again."
"I'll get the foundry working on another bow."
"No, this time it's the engine room that's damaged."
"Are you sure it's the Eskimo?"

"Firstly, the Tribal class destroyers - these were the Royal Navy's preferred containment facilities for men who had yet to meet a ship at sea that they didn't dearly want to explode.
"The second, the 'it's not illegal when you do it the first time' Canadians, who pleasingly (and perhaps unsurprisingly) had Tribal-class destroyers of their own;
"And third, 'we sailed across two entire seas to keep fighting for vengeance, and nobody's heard a bell just yet' Poles, who didn't have any Tribal-class but made up for it by being willing to fight pretty much anyone with pretty much anything, which also made them extremely popular in certain pubs and bars across the UK."
An AMAZING collection of Drach-isms in this episode, but this one made me laugh the hardest 🤣🤣🤣

Eskimo and Javelin, so it's the "front fell off" flotilla.

16:55 the really funny part is that we still have that motor launch, it’s in the small museum building next to where Haida is moored as a museum ship in Hamilton

". . . heavily armed floating asylum . . ." had to include the Poles.
