  Just want to add: this ideology of itching for the world to end creates a culture of people who do not care about genocides, poverty, climate change, etc. — because why try to make the world better if it’s all going to end anyway? I think it’s inherently very toxic

  I’m not religious but I have religious relatives. I can imagine people believing in like pope or high ranking religious figures but they believed A RANDOM MAN on internet is soooo scary. I guess if you say things with confidence people will believe in it…

  I feel so badly for these children tbh. I was a church kid by choice around 11-13 and when I tell you I had so many panic attacks about the rapture and the end of the world. And I didn&apos;t even go to a fire and brimstone type church. It&apos;s not appropriate for kids to be worrying about this stuff, it&apos;s traumatizing
