Why do luxury yachts cost so much?

  I am quite simply put in superlative overload right now . The sheer scale of Princess's operations is staggering I could watch another two or three hours of this quite happily . A huge thank you to Princess for allowing you and us to have a look round . Nick you simply knock it out of the park with the fabulous content you bring us it really is a joy to watch your videos . Jolly good show that man long may you reign .

  One of the few industries where the UK can still be considered a world leader.<br><br>And whilst Princess directly employ 3,300 people, the supply chains will employ an awful lot more.

  Was totally interested, &nbsp;my son has been with Princess for 35 years , started as an apprentice and now is totally in charge of quality control for the whole company. &nbsp;My daughter in law manages the whole line for the S72 .<br>So a big thankyou Nic .

  250 boats a year sounds insane considering the amount of work that goes into each boat and that they&apos;re Owner specific and made to order! This was fascinating. Looking forward to Part 2.

  This video was absolutely mind boggling. This is the sort of thing you see on Nat Geo. I had no idea how big Princess are. Totally opened my eyes as to why boats are so expensive. Ross is a real credit to Princess. Can’t wait for part 2.

  Perfect title. Indeed, if you compare the amount of work needed to build these yachts to, for example, building a house, you realize that they&apos;re not actually that expensive.

  Nick, next time you&apos;re in contact with Princess make sure you mention how incredible Ross is. His knowledge of all aspects of manufacturing and enthusiasm for, and pride in, their yachts is phenomenal.
