  My mom picked out a kitten just like that. She was in a kennel with her brothers and sisters and they were all clamoring at the bars for attention. She kept to herself in the back, almost looking defeated, but mom reached passed them and scooped her into her arms. Immediately she lit up, purring and rubbing, and mom called me over. I hadn&apos;t had that spark moment with any of the cats so far until I held her. When she got into my arms, it was more of the same. She was all too happy to be held and loved, and she came home with us that day. I&apos;ve never had such a wonderful cat in my life. Bunny was always cuddling me, she loved to play hide and seek, and was so adorably talkative. She has since passed, and while I have new cats who are each delightful in their own way, none compare to her. Take a chance on a shelter animal, they&apos;ll spend the rest of their life thanking you for it 💖

  That cage is ridiculously tiny, no wonder she was withdrawn. Animals are kept in prisons in these shelters but expected to act outgoing and normal.
